Mike, over here in the Shawnee, we prescribe burn our forest. FS tells us that it prevents bigger fires. Native Americans did it first.

We got a derecho in 2009 that was so bad that there are still trees down from it.
It was a powerful storm. In my opinion, it was way more destructive than a tornado but very widespread.
It is a hard one for me to decide. I enjoyed the works of Ben Holcomb back when I was really into it.
